How do I browse the BoscoBear catalogue?
There are many ways to search the BoscoBear range, the following is a guide on how to get the most out of your search and what you want to see.
What is the best way to browse the catalogue?
The best way to browse the BoscoBear catalogue is to use the menu item links, which is located on the left hand side. Product search box at the top of the website can be helpful for narrowing to specific items.
Once into the area your wish to explore, you can then use the refined search to further narrow your selection.
How do I narrow my search selection?
You can narrow your search results by one or all of the following criteria selections:
• Product Type (party invites, cards, labels, stickers, room art, magnets, décor and so forth)
• Can the design be personalised
• Brand Name
• Product Name
• Features
How do I browse for personalised product designs?
BoscoBear’s Browse Catalogue and Personalise Design software embraces the latest technology to make, creating and ordering your personalised printed product simple and easy. It allows you to:
1. Search our extensive design catalogue to create full colour personalised designs across a huge range of themes and products.
2. Narrow your results by item, style, category and specific features(specifically whether it can be tailored to a personal message including your child’s name, a famous brand are a few additional search refinement features).
How do I add a personalisation to my design?
All designs that are personalised have at the product detail screen menu that allows you three functions.
• Standard non-personalised product
• Personalised product
• PDF proof (an extra check for those who would like to approve anelectronic send of the file – please see PDF Proof Help section formore information).
So how do I personalise?
Clickon the personalised button or commence filling out the character fields with the information asked. For example in our personalised party invitation range the character fields will include: child’s name, location of the party, time and RSVP details. Once you are happy that all of the information is correct (don’t forget to check your spelling) click the preview button and a new window will come up with a sample of your design. An important note: this sample is only aguide as to what the finished personalised product will look like. Sometimes slight variants can occur on the sample design that may not look completely right. Rest assured the BoscoBear team check every design before we print and send it to you.
How do I add personalisation to my labels?
Ourkids label section has an interactive interface that allows you todesign your own microwave and water safe labels. Using this interfaceis simple. Follow these easy steps to create your own fantasticdesigns.
1. Select your theme from the many BoscoBear designs in our collection. Themes to choose from include sports &hobbies, enchanted forest, under the sea, from outer space jungle fever plus new themes released all the time.
2. Once you have chosen you theme, you will be able to select one of the label sizes and styles. Sizes and styles to choose from included small, medium and circular.
2. Once you have chosen your label and theme the selection will shorten to the icons within that theme (each theme usually has between six and twelve icons to choose from).
3. Choose the colour you would like your label to be from the colour range (in most cases there are six to ten great colours to choose from).
4. As you select your design the interactive interface will start to build your label for you.
5. Once you are happy that all of the information is correct (don’t forget to check your spelling and add any extra information required in the box provided) click the add to cart button and your design will save automatically and be added to your shopping cart.
6. An important note: this sample is only a guide as to what the finished personalised product will look like. Sometimes slight variants can occur on the sample design that may not look completely right. The BoscoBear team always check every design to ensure your design is fabulous.
So how do I buy BoscoBear products from the website?
Once you have chosen the product and design you wish to purchase follow the simple instructions to make your purchase.
1. Follow the instructions to personalise your design (if you are wanting a personalised product, like our kids vinyl labels, see ‘how to personalise’ instructional elements) and then select your quantity.
2. If you are buying a non-personalised product, then select your quantity.
3. Once you are happy with the quantity and the design click add. This adds your product to your cart and takes you to your shopping cart.
4. At the shopping cart you can continue shopping (by pressing the continue shopping button which will take you back to the product list of the most recent product you added to your cart), update your cart information, or check out.
5. If you are ready to check out you must tick the terms and conditions button before you can continue withthe transaction. A full transcript of our terms and conditions can befound via the terms and conditions hotlink. Our terms and conditionsare very important to BoscoBear, so please take the time to read them, if you are happy with the terms and conditions please click the tickbox to accept them.
6. For those that have not logged in as a BoscoBear user, you will be asked to do so now. A registration screen will appear with two options, for customers who have already registered as BoscoBear users you will be asked to sign in (located at the top-middle)
How do I know that buying with BoscoBear online is safe?

How can I pay for my products?
Throughthe BoscoBear website you can purchase via our online shopping cart. The shopping cart accepts visa and mastercard. We also accept moneyorders, cheques and direct deposits for non-online sales (for residentsof Australia only). However please note we cannot process your orderwithout receipt of payment (in the case of personal cheques these mustclear prior to processing your order). What do I need to know when preparing the painted surfaces for BoscoBear Removable Room Art?
Modern paints are designed to be cleaned and for the cleaing not to affect the gloss or the finish of the paint. To achieve this teflon or silicones are added. This makes the paint easy to clean because they have contaminated the surface to stop things sticking to the surface. This includes pressure and sensititve vinyls.
To fix this problem, good surface preparartion and the right products will the solve the problem. Lightly sand the wall surface the use a good undercoat like the Solve Oil Latex Undercoat.
Then, lightly sand and use a Solver Brite-Glo Low Sheen Acrylic depending on the gloss required. For wall graphics application, you will get better adhesion with the vinyl if you have a slight gloss compared to the flat surface.
The Solver Brite-Glo range has no silicone or teflon added because its main use is for signage.
Water based paints are touch dry and in about 20 minutes however they outgas for up to 7 to 14 days where no vinyls should be applied. Solvent based paints may take up to 21 days. The outgassing attacks the adhesive on the vinyl and causes lifting.
What is 'outgassing' ?
Outgassing is where a surface emits molecules of chemicals into the air, which are present in most paints. This is when a room has been freshly painted and you can still pick-up the residual paint smell weeks after the surface was painted. There are many eco-friendly paints now on the market that do not outgass. Boasting to have significant health benfits, these paints are much more compatible with vinyl wall art, as there are no chemicals reacting with the adhesive.
